SkamoEnclosure Glue - Heat-Resistant Adhesive for Fire Protection Boards
SkamoEnclosure Glue is a ready-to-use adhesive for bonding SkamoEnclosure fire protection boards together. It is a mineral-based glue made from a blend of aluminium silicates and water glass, and is ideal for building heat-proof enclosures around built-in fireplaces.
The glue is supplied in a 300 ml bag that fits standard caulking guns, which makes it easy to apply a clean, even bead along the board edges.

Application
Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust and grease before applying the glue. Apply the glue to the surfaces to be joined and press the parts together.
Good to know
- The glue is water-soluble and not waterproof. Avoid use in highly humid conditions.
- Store in a dry, warm room at a minimum of 1 °C. The glue is frost-sensitive.
- The expiry date is printed on the back of the bag.
- The glue can cause skin and serious eye irritation. Wear protective gloves and eye/face protection when handling.
