Dimplex Sense 60 Built-in & Wall-mounted Electric Fireplace

Sense 60 is the wider of the two Sense fireplaces, a 150 cm electric fire for larger media walls and living rooms. It can be built into a recess or fixed to the wall with the supplied bracket, so you decide how it fits your interior. Heat comes out of the front, which makes it a safe choice for a spot below the TV.

The Optiflame® effect shows flames rising over a realistic, glowing fuel bed. Pick from 13 flame colours and 7 ambient themes, set the brightness and speed of the flames in three steps, and choose between the log set and the tumbled glass that come with the fireplace. Switch the heat off and enjoy the flames alone, whatever the season.

Highlights

  • 1-sided fireplace, built-in or wall-mounted
  • Optiflame® flames with 13 colours and 7 ambient themes
  • Adjustable flame brightness and flame speed, each in three steps
  • Logs and tumbled glass included
  • Powerful 2 kW fan heater with 1000 W and 2000 W settings and a fan-only mode
  • Built-in thermostat, adjustable from 17 to 32 °C
  • Timer up to 8 hours, plus a 7-day schedule in the app
  • Operate it from the touch panel, the remote control or the Glen Dimplex Connect app
  • Maintenance-free LED lighting, drawing just 22 W for the flame effect alone
  • 2-year warranty

Size and weight

  • Product (W x H x D): 148.2 x 46.3 x 18.1 cm
  • Minimum built-in opening (W x H x D): 149.5 x 46.9 x 23.0 cm
  • Weight: 33.4 kg
  • Power cable: 1.8 m plug-in

Please note

Suitable for indoor use only. Never cover the heat outlet above the flame window, keep drapes and other flammable items clear of the fireplace, and connect it directly to a wall socket, not an extension lead.

Calming Flames, Endless Customisation

Optiflame® Flame Technology

Calming flames rise above a highly realistic glowing log bed, created using Dimplex's Optiflame® technology. Choose from 13 flame colours and 7 ambient themes, then adjust the brightness and speed across three levels, so the fire always matches the mood of the room.

Since it's a fully electric solution, there's no fuel, smoke or soot involved, just a realistic flame effect you can enjoy safely, any time of year.

Mount it on the wall or build it in

Built-in or wall-mounted

Hang the Sense Media Wall Fire directly on the wall or recess it into a media wall. The choice is yours, so it fits easily into the way you have set up your living space.

Because the heat comes out of the front, it is also safe to place below a TV, which gives a clean and modern finish.

Dimplex Flame Connect App

Control Your Fireplace From Your Phone

The Flame Connect app gives you full control of your Dimplex fireplace straight from your phone. Adjust the flame effect, choose from different flame colours, and set the heat output, all without leaving the sofa.

It works alongside the included remote control and control panel, so you can switch between whichever is easiest in the moment.

Comfortable warmth, all year round

Heating you can fine-tune

The integrated fan heater provides up to 2000 W of heat and offers several settings, so you can set the warmth to what feels right for you. A thermostat keeps the room temperature steady, and in flame-only mode you can enjoy the fire effect without any heat at all. That makes the Sense a good fit in every season, whatever the weather outside.

  • Absolutely fantastic service from Bioethanol Fireplace .co.uk. From our first online enquiry this company have been extremely helpful and informative. Casper answered all of the questions that we had and also sent us a video comparing the two fires that we were interested in as we were not able to visit the showroom. Delivery was very quick and we absolutely love our fire. It has made a lovely addition to our conservatory making it much more useable during the colder winter months. Would definitely recommend this company - 5 massive stars from us!

  • I recently purchased a bioethanol fire and I’m extremely pleased with it. It looks great, works beautifully, and has an impressively long burning time. It’s easy to use and adds a lovely atmosphere to the room. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a clean, stylish heating option! The fire was packed extremely well for transport, and my husband put it together with ease.

  • I was pleased to have find this company as its products are superior to what is on sale in all the other vendors i researched. I am very happy with my purchase a Victoria cast iron electric stove it looks great in my kitchen - and it warms up my kitchen really quickly. The stove was expensive but worth the investment as i think this stove will be with me for a long time.

  • I purchased a Bioethanol Fireplace from Bio Fireplace Group and I couldn’t be happier. The service couldn’t have been better from start to finish. The fire arrived quicker than expected, the customer service is second to none and well the fire itself is stunning. I can’t wait to purchase another fire for my orangey.

  • Order arrived quickly and in perfect condition due to the care taken in wrapping and packaging. The Columbus fireplace is excellent. It is surprisingly good at warming the room and I've particularly enjoyed lighting in first thing to cheer up a grey start to the day.
